C., for a special census of the City of Redwood City; <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms and conditions set forth in the letter of J. Co <br />Capt. Director of the. A letter was attached to each copy of the budget <br />which was read by the City Manager. Councilman Granger moved that before the final <br />budget is adopted it be submitted to the City Attorney and C. G. Uhlenberg for <br />clarification of the use'of parking meter funds, etc. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman XgNulty and passed unanimously, <br />IN REGARD TO THE SALARY ORDINANCE, City'Manager Blom advised that in the rough draft the <br />position of administrative assistant at a salary of $300 per month had been omitted <br />and that the salary of the City Manager should be changed from 0600 per month to <br />$615. Councilman Holmquist introduced the salary ordinance for the fiscal year <br />1947-45, seconded by Councilman Granger. Motion passed unanimously. <br />COUNCILMAN GRANGER OFFERED RESOLUTION ACCEPTING?DEED OF SALE FROM THE CALIFORNIA WATER <br />SERVICE COMPANY TO the City of Redwood City for the water system in Redwood Village, <br />and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman McNulty. On roll call resolution <br />was unanimously adopted with Councilman Wender absent. <br />RESOLUTION No. 497. <br />ACCEPTING DEED AND BILL OF SALE FROM CALIFORNIA WATER SERVICE COMPANY <br />FOR WATER SYSTEM IN REDWOOD VILLAGE. <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the deed and bill of <br />sale from California Water Service Company, a corporation duly organized and <br />existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, to the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation duly organized and existing under and by <br />virtue of the laws of the State of California, date July 10, 1947, which deed and <br />bill of sale transfers and conveys the water distbibution system now serving the <br />area generally described as Redwood Village, is hereby accepted by and on behalf of <br />the City. <br />I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of Resolution No. 497, adopted <br />by the City Council at.a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of July,-lo47, <br />at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Redwood City, California. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto <br />22nd day of July, 1947. <br />set my hand and the seal of said City this - <br />RALPH Be DODGE <br />City Clerk of the City of Redwood City, <br />& Ex Officio Clerk of the Council thereof. <br />City Manager Blom advised that the funds of the Water Department were about depleted <br />and that consideration should be given to the issuing of revenue bonds. He suggested <br />
