Wagreement. In answer to an inquiry by Councilman Britschgi, City Attorney Currie stated that this agreement would definitely provide that the subdivider pay all costs of water mains etc. Councilman Britschgi offered a resolution approving the final map, subject to the necessary agreement. Councilman Werder seconded the motion. Motion carried on roll call, Mayor Hilton being noted absent. PROPOSED RESOLUTION BROADWAY No. 3: Continued to the next meeting of the Council. Agenda. 1, ZONING REDWOOD VILLAGE TO FIRST RESIDENTIAL. Councilman Britschgi moved the filing of affidavit of publication, seconded by Councilman Swift, and carried. ZONING ORDINANCE. Adopted on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman McNulty and carried.on roll call. TRAFFIC ON BAYSHORE HIGHWAY: Councilman Holmquist stated that in his opinion steps should be taken at once to alleviate traffic congestion especially at Chestnut and Bayshore. He requested that the City Manager make a study of the more hazardous intersections, and offer suggestions to the Council for their correction. Council- man Werder suggested that the intersection at Rogers and El Camino Real be flood- lighted to protect pedestrians. Brester, Broadway and Whipple Streets at El Camino Real were other intersections requiring corrective action. The City Manager will study the conditions at these intersections and at the S. P. Depot and return his suggestions to the Council. CONDITION OF THE CREEK. Councilman Britschgi requested that something be done at once about controlling unsanitary conditions of the Creek. After some discussion, the City Manager was asked to make a report and recommendation for controlling this condition. A. B. CHEATHAM ASKED FOR RELIEF from cars using his lot to park. He stated that he repeatedly has to have cars towed away.from his lot. Referred to City Manager for action. VALOTA PARK SEWER PROJECT: Councilman Granger requested a report on the progress of this work. Mr. Pontow reported that the work was being done as rapidly as possible, but that labor trouble delayed completion of the job. Agenda. COUNCILMAN GRANGER ASKED THAT ABATEMENT proceedings be commenced against the Fitzpatrick property, located next to the Peninsula Title Company. Councilman Werder moved that the Building Inspector be instructed to take the necessary steps to abate this property. Councilman Britschgi segonded the motion, and carried. COMMUTERS PROBLEM: Councilman Granger commented on the severe traffic tie-ups at the S. P. depot. Councilman Britschgi moved that the City Manager cell a special meet- n ing of the, Traffic and Safety Commission to take action on this condition. Motion seconded by Councilman Holmquist and carried. WELTNER CURB: Councilman McNulty requested that the City Manager investigate this matten CLAIMS NOS. 2536 to 2606 totaling $17,624.45 were ordered paid on motion of Councilman II McNulty, seconded by Councilman Swift, and passed.
