<br />nership. Councilman Holmquist offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by

<br />ACCEPTING DEEDS OF FASE14EIlT FROM DOUGLASS AND WOODHOUSE, A CO -PARTNERSHIP.
<br />• RESOLVED, by the City Council of Redwood City, that deeds of easement from
<br />Douglass & Woodhouse, a copartnership, to the City of Redwood City, a municipal
<br />corporation, be and they hereby are accepted by and on behalf of the City of
<br />Red?-ood City.
<br />Said deeds grant easements to the City of Redwood City on property described
<br />as follows:
<br />PARCEL 1
<br />A parcel of land in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, i
<br />State of California, described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the Pulgas Ranch Line and the North-
<br />westerly line of Hopkins Avenue (formerly Eleventh Street) as shown on that
<br />certain Map entitled "Town of Mezesville0 recorded August 1, 1856 in Book I
<br />of Maps, page 79, San Mateo County Records; THECE N 580 171 5411 W along the
<br />Pulgas Ranch Line a distance of 14'5. 48 feet; THENCE N 470 281 06" E a
<br />distance of 10.39 feet to a point on the Northeasterly line of that certain
<br />10 foot easement from Tacoma Mill Company to the Town of Redwood City,
<br />recorded July 14, 1922 in Volume 471 page 46, San Mateo County Records,
<br />which point is the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N 580 171 511.0 If along the
<br />Northeasterly line. of said easement and parallel to the Pulgas Line a distance
<br />of 142.02 feet; THENCE N 47o 28' 060 E a distance of 10.39 feet; THENCE S
<br />580 17' 540 E a distance of 142.02 feet; THENCE S 47o 28' Ob" W a distance of
<br />10.39 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; being a strip 10.00 feet in width
<br />between parcel conveyed to Hedahl-Martin Company by Deed recorded February 14,
<br />1947 in Volume 1311, page 447, San Mateo County Records and parcel conveyed
<br />to Advance Tool Manufacturing Company by Douglass & Woodhouse.

<br />A parcel of land in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State

<br />BEGINNING, at the intersection of the Pulgas Ranch Line and the North-

<br />westerly line of Howland Street (formerly Thirteenth Street) as shown on that
<br />certain Map entitled "Town of Mezesville" recorded August 1, 1856 in Book I
<br />of Maps, page 79, San Mateo County Records; THENCE, S 580 171 5411 E along the
<br />Pulgas Ranch Line a distance of 24.95 feet; THENCE, N 70 281 06" E a distance
<br />of 10.39 feet to a point on the Northeasterly line of that certain 10 foot
<br />easement from Tacoma Mill Company to the Twon of Redwood City, recorded July
<br />14, 1922 in Volume 47, page 46, San Mateo County Records; which point is the
<br />TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: THENCE S 580 171 5411 E along said Northeasterly line
<br />and parallel to the Pulgas Line a distance of 52. 98 feet, THENCE N 47o 28'

<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regu-
<br />lar meeting thereof held on the 17th day of January, 1949, bythe following
<br />vote:
