Councilman Holmquist -offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded <br />by Councilman Morgan, and carried on roll call, Councilman Britschgi noted absent. <br />RESOLUTION No. 66o, <br />ACCEPTING DEED OF EASEMENT FROM TOAC0I4A MILL COMPANY, A DISSOLVED CORPORATION. <br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of Redwood City, that a deed of easement from <br />TA00I4A MILL COMPANY, a dissolved corporation, to the City of Redwood City, a muni- <br />cipal corporation, be and it hereby is accepted by and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br />Said deed grants an easement to the City of Redwood City on property described <br />as follows: <br />A parcel of land in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State <br />of California, described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the Pulgas Ranch Line and the south- <br />easterly line of Whipple Avenue (formerly Fourteenth Street) as shown on that <br />certain map entitled I'Town of Mezesville" recorded August 1, 1856 in Book I <br />of Maps, Page 79, San Mateo County Records; THENCE along said southeasterly <br />line of Whipple Avenue N 47o 24, 06° E a distance of 10.40 feet to a point on <br />the northeasterly -:line 6f that certain 10 feet easement from Tacoma Mill Co. <br />to the Town of Redwood City, recorded July 14, 1922 in Volume 47, page 46, <br />San Mateo County Records, which point is the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: THENCE <br />S 58o 171 5411 E along the northeasterly line of said easement and parallel <br />to the Pulgas Line a distance of 119.88 feet to the line of the Proposed <br />Bayshore Freeway; THENCE, starting on a bearing of N 510 11' 511, E, along arc <br />of'2701 radius curve to the left thru an angle of 10 07' 13° for a distance of <br />5.28 feet which arc is the line of the Proposed Bayshore Freeway thru Redwood <br />City; THENCE N 580 17' 541, W a distance of .120.19 feet to the aforementioned <br />southeasterly line of Whipple Avenue; THENCE along said line S 47o 24' 06° w <br />a distance of 5.20 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, being a strip 5.00 <br />feet in width between Whipple Avenue and parcel conveyed by Quit Claim Deed <br />to Emmett W. Paul recorded June 13, 1947, in Volume 1365, page 122, San Mateo <br />County Records. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 17th day of January, 1949, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: GRANGER, H0114QUIST, MORGAN, SPILLERS, SWIFT, and Mayor WERDER. <br />NOES; Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: BRITSCHGI <br />ATTEST: <br />RALPH S.
