<br />RESOLUTION No. 662. Accepting Deed of Easement from Emmett W. Paul.. Councilman
<br />Holmquist offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Morgan,
<br />and carried on roll call. Councilman Britschgi noted absent.

<br />ACCEPTING DEED OF EASEMENT FROM EMMETT W. PAUL
<br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of Redwood City, that a deed of easement from
<br />Emmett W. Paul to the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation, be and it
<br />hereby is accented by and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
<br />Said deed grants an easement to the City of Redwood City on property described
<br />as follows:
<br />A parcel of land in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State
<br />of California, described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the Pulgas Ranch and the Northwesterly
<br />line of Howland Street (formerly Thirteenth Street) as shown on that certain
<br />map entitled "Town of Mezesville° recorded August 1, 1856 in Book I of Maps,
<br />Page 79, San Mateo County Records; THENCE, S 580 17' 541, E along the Pulgas
<br />Ranch Line a distance of 24.95 feet; THENCE N 470 281 0611 E a distance of
<br />10.39 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING which is a point on the northeast-
<br />erly line of that certain 10 foot easement from Tacoma Mill Co. to the Town
<br />of Redwood City recorded July 14, 1922 in Volume 47, page 46, San Mateo
<br />County Records; THENCE N 580 17' 541' W along said northeasterly line and
<br />parallel to the Pulgas Line a distance of 113.29 feet to a point on the line
<br />of the proposed Freeway through Redwood City; THENCE, starting on a bearing
<br />of N 510 11' 51" E along are of 270' radius curve to the left thru and.angle
<br />of 10 07' 131' for a distance of 5.28 feet which are is on line of said Freeway;
<br />THENCE S 580 17' 54" E a distance of 112.99 feet; THENCE S 47o 28' 061' W a
<br />distance of 5.20 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, being a 5.00 foot strip
<br />thru parcel conveyed to Emmet W. Paul by Quit Claim Deed recorded June 13,
<br />1947 in Volume 1365, page 122, San Mateo County Records.
