<br />Spillers, declaring results of the Special Bond Election as above. Motion carried
<br />on roll call, Councilmen Britschgi, Swift, and Morgan noted absent.
<br />RESOLUTION No. 695
<br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS, AND RESULT OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION HELD
<br />APRIL 5, 1949•
<br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by Ordinance No. 609, duly
<br />called and ordered held in said City an election on the 5th day of April, 1949, for
<br />the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters and electors thereof the measure
<br />,hereinafter specified; and
<br />.WHEREAS, said ordinance calling and ordering said election was duly published
<br />as required by law and by said ordinance, as appears from the affidavit of publi-
<br />cation now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that said special municipal bond election was duly held in
<br />accordance with law and with said call, on the 5th day of April, 1949, as aforesaid,
<br />and that the polls for said election were kept open during the time required by law,
<br />and that said election was held and conducted, and the votes thereat received and
<br />canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, determined and declared, all as
<br />provided by the laws of the State of California, and by said ordinance; and
<br />WHEREAS, on this day, to wit, Monday, the llth day of April, 1949, at the hour
<br />of 8:00 P. M. (the first Monday after said election), the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood City met at its usual place of meeting and has canvassed the returns of said
<br />special municipal bond election as required by law, and the result of said canvass
<br />1s found to be as hereinafter stated and set forth:
<br />IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND DECLARED BY THE Council of Redwood City,
<br />as follows:
<br />1. That at said special municipal bond election the following proposition for
<br />incurring bonded indebtedness was submitted to the electors of said City and that the
<br />number of votes given in said City for and against said proposition were as follows:

<br />DISPOSAL indebtedness in the principal amount of
<br />SYSTEM 0150,000 in accordance with the provisions of

<br />and purpose, to wit Completion of sewage disposal pro-
<br />ject, including sewage treatment plant, intercepting and
<br />collecting sewers, land, easements, rights of way, and t

<br />was 1169 votes. That 3 ballots were spoiled and not counted.

<br />divided into seventeen (17) special election precincts, and that the number of votes
