<br />Reference is hereby made to the Resolution of said Council determining to make
<br />said improvements without compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation,
<br />Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, being Resolution No. 705 on file in the
<br />office of the -City Clerk of said City.
<br />All work provided fon herein shall 'be done as provided in Article I of said
<br />Oridnance No.'333, as amended.

<br />i NOTICE IS -HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN -that Monday, the 23rd day of 1949, at the hour
<br />of 9:00 P. M. of said day, at the Council Chamber of said Council of said City, in
<br />the City Hall on Middlefield Road in said City, has been and is hereby fixed as the
<br />day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having any objections to the
<br />proposed work and improvements described herein, or to the grade to which said work
<br />and improvements are to be done and made, or to the district proposed to be assessed
<br />" for said work and improvements, may appear before said Council of said City and show
<br />cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out and done at
<br />the grades as shown on the plans, profiles, and detailed drawings referred to herein,
<br />i and for hearing any protests in relation to said proposed improvement.
<br />The Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper, published, printed
<br />s and circulated in said City of Redwood City, is hereby designated by the Council of
<br />said City as the newspaper in which to publish this Resolution of Intention as re-
<br />quired by law, and the Clerk of said City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and
<br />directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published in said newspaper
<br />twice, as. required by law.
<br />i The Street Superintendent of said City of Redwood City shall cause notices of
<br />the passage of .this Resolution of Intention to be posted in the time form manner
<br />and number as required by law.
<br />The Clerk of said City shall mail notices of the adoption of this Resolution
<br />( of Intention to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed, whose
<br />names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for said City taxes,
<br />prior thereto, in time, form and manner as required by law.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meet-
<br />ing thereof held on the 2nd day of May, 1949, by the following vote:

<br />PROPOSED RECCNSTRUCTION OF ABANDONED DRIVEWAYS BY OWNERS. Councilman Morgan moved this
<br />be carried on the agenda for two weeks, seconded by Councilman Swift, and carried.
<br />RECONSTRUCTION OF BLANDFORD STREET ISLAND. City Engineer Jain stated the estimated cost
<br />to alter the island at the westerly end would be 0350 to $400. To remove the island
<br />would cost about $800 which would leave a very large intersection which was believed
