<br />(a) By installing a 24 inch reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer complete
<br />with manholes and all other structures appurtenant thereto, from an existing
<br />catch an existing catch basin at the northeast intersection of Brewster Avenue
<br />with Alameda de las Pulgas; thence along Alameda de las Pulgas to the inter-
<br />section of Alameda de las Pulgas with Westgate; thence along Westgate to the
<br />intersection of Westgate with Hopkins Avenue at the corporate limits line of
<br />the City of Redwood City, California. By installing a 15inch reinforced con-
<br />crete pipe storm sewer from a point at the termination of the aforementioned
<br />24 inch sewer in a southeasterly direction parallel to said corporate limits
<br />line, to a 5 foot easement in Lot 36, Block 15; thence along the said corporate
<br />limits line in an easement 5 foot in width, contiguous to said corporate
<br />limits line in said Lot 36, Block 152 as said lot is shown on that map entitled�)1!
<br />"RESUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 15 IN OAK KNOLL MANOR, RECORDS OF SAN MATEO COUNTY,"
<br />to connect with a 2 foot by 2 foot concrete box to be installed and an exist-
<br />ing 15 inch corrugated metal pipe culvert at said corporate limits line in
<br />said Lot 36.,':Bl6ck'.15.
<br />(b) By installing catch basins to be connected to the aforementioned
<br />24 inch reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer at the following locations: -
<br />(1) One catch basin at the intersection of Brewster Avenue with Alameda.i
<br />de las Pulgas connected to said 24 inch storm sewer by an 18 inch reinforced
<br />concrete pipe storm sewer lateral.
<br />(2) Two catch basins at the intersection of Westgate with Alameda de las
<br />pulgas connected to said 2k inch storm sewer by 15 inch reinforced concrete'
<br />pipe storm sewer laterals.
<br />(3) One catch basin at the intersection of Stanley Street with Westgate
<br />connected to said 24 inch storm sewer by a 10 inch reinforced concrete pipe 4'
<br />storm sewer lateral.
<br />(4.) Two catch basins near the corporate limits line of Redwood City at
<br />the intersection of Westgate with Hopkins Avenue, connected to said 24 inch
<br />storm sewer by a 15 inch reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer lateral.
<br />(c) The construction of an 18inch reinforced concrete pipe siphon with
<br />a•catch basin at either end thereof across Stanley Street at Brewster Avenue.
<br />(d) The improvement of Westgate by constructing therein concrete curb
<br />and gutter, 4. inch concrete sidewalks, 5 feet wide, and 2 inch asphaltic
<br />concrete paving with 6 inch crusher -run rock base, 31 feet in width, from the
<br />intersection of Westgate with. Alameda de las Pulgas to the intersection of
<br />Westgate with the existing paved surface on Hopkins Avenue.
<br />(e) The improvement of Stanley Street by constructing therein concrete
<br />curb and gutter, 4. inch concrete sidewalk, 5 feet wide, on the southerly
<br />side thereof only, and 2 inch asphaltic concrete paving with 6 inch crusher
<br />run rock base, 31 feet in width, from the intersection of Stanley Street
<br />with Brewster Avenue to the intersection of Stanley Street with Westgate.
<br />(f) The construction and installation of all necessary appurtenances
<br />to the work to be done under items (a) through (e) inclusive.
<br />All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at the places, in the
<br />manner, of the sizes, of the materials, and to the lines, grades and elevations
<br />as shown on the plans, profiles and specifications made therefor, and on file
<br />in the office of the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City, and the same are made
<br />a part hereof by reference thereto.
<br />Whenever any public way is referred to as running between two public ways, or
<br />from or to any public way, the intersections of the public ways referred to are
<br />included to the extent that work shall be done therein pursuant to the plans and 4�
<br />specifications hereinbefore referred to.
<br />Said Council does hereby adopt and establish as the official grades for said
<br />work the grades as shown on the plans, profiles and specifications made therefor I'
<br />and hereinbefore referred to. _
<br />The total estimated cost of said improvements as determined -.by the City (i
<br />Engineer of Redwood City, California, is the sum of $4.2,288.90. �
<br />Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of said City Council,
<br />is of more than local or ordinary public benefit and said Council does hereby make
<br />the cost and expenses of doing such work and improvements chargeable upon a dis-
<br />trict, which district said Council declares to be the district benefited by said
<br />work and improvements and to be assessed to pay the entire cost and expense there-
<br />of, except that the City of Redwood City will pay the sum of $6,025.00 toward the
<br />cost of said work and improvements, and which said district is wholly within the
<br />limits of said City of Redwood City, State of California, and is described as
<br />follows:
<br />Said area being a portion of OAK KNOLL MANOR, San Mateo County, California,
<br />recorded Iviay 10, 1916, in Vol 10 at•pages 4. to 11, inclusive, records of San Mateo
<br />County, the bearings of which are the basis of this description. Said area includes
<br />the Resubdivision of Block 15 in Oak Knoll Manor, recorded April 16, 1920 in Vol.
<br />10 at page 31, San Mateo County records, and also a portion of Block 11, Oak
<br />Knoll Manor, which area is more particularly described as follows:
<br />.BEGINNING at the intersection of the Southwestern line of said Block 151
