<br />There is excepted from said district, all streets and other public property used in
<br />the performance of a public function.
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and said Council of said City does determine, that
<br />serial bonds to represent the unpaid assessments of $25.00 or over, bearing interest
<br />at the rate of six per cent (6,09) per annum will be issued pursuant to Article I of
<br />Ordinance No. 333 of said City, entitled "Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordi-
<br />nance", adopted March 14 1932, as amended, the last installment of which bonds
<br />shall mature fourteen (1fo years from the 2nd day of January next succeeding the
<br />15th day of the next November following their date.

<br />Reference is hereby made to the Resolution of said Council determining to make
<br />said improvements without compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation,
<br />Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, being Resolution No. 7410 on file in
<br />the office of the City Clerk of said City.
<br />All work provided for herein shall be done as provided in Article I of said
<br />Ordinance No. 333, as amended.
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that Monday, the 15th day of August, 1949, at
<br />the hour of 8:00 P. M. of said day, at the Council Chamber of said Council of said
<br />City, in the City Hall on Middlefield Road in said City, has been and is hereby
<br />fixed as the day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having any objec-
<br />tions to the proposed work and improvements described herein, or to the grade to
<br />which said work and improvements are to be done and made, or to the district proposed
<br />to be assessed for said v+o rk and improvements, may appear before said Council of
<br />said City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be car-
<br />ried out and done in accordance mi th this resolution of intention, or why said work
<br />and improvements should not be carried out and done at the grades as shown on the
<br />plans, profiles, and detailed drawings referred to herein, and for hearing any pro-
<br />tests in relation to said proposed improvement.
<br />The Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper, published, printed
<br />and circulated in said City of Redwood City is hereby designated by the Council of
<br />said City as the newspaper in which to publish this Resolution of Intention as
<br />required by law, and the Clerk of said City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and
<br />directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published in said newspaper
<br />twice, as required by law. ,
<br />The Street Superintendent of said City of Redwood City shall cause notices of
<br />the passage of this Resolution of Intention to be posted in the time,,form, manner
<br />and number as required by law.
<br />The Clerk of said City shall mail notices of the adoption of this Resolution of
<br />Intention to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed, whose names
<br />and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for said City Taxes,
<br />prior thereto, in time, form and manner as required by law.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the Cit of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof, held on the 18th day of July, 199, by the following vote:
