<br />Redwood City, to -wit: E,. Maloney, 1032 Jefferson Avenue, Redwood City,Cali£ornia; and
<br />WHEREAS in and by said notice to abate nuisance, said Building Inspector of the City of Redwood
<br />City did fix Monday, August 153 1949, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. of said day at the Council Chamber
<br />in the City Hall on Middlefield Road in said City of Redwood City, as the time and place when the
<br />owners of the buildings situated upon said real property could appear and be heard and show cause
<br />why said buildings should not be condemned as a public nuisance and..abated by reconstructing or
<br />properly repairing said buildings or by razing or removing the same; and
<br />FIHEREAS said Council did regularly continue said hearing until the 66th day of September, 1949,
<br />at 8tOO o'clock P.M.; and
<br />WHEREAS said Council did proceed on the 6th day of September, 1949, with said hearing, and
<br />after considering all objections made and received does determine that due and legal notice of
<br />said hearing was given as required by the ordinances of the City of Redwood City, as appears from
<br />the affidavit o£ L.M. DUNCAN on file in the office of the City,Clerk;
<br />NO'N, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, and said Council
<br />does hereby declare, that the buildings or structures situated upon the real property hemi.nabove
<br />described are a public nuisance, and does hereby direct the owners thereof to abate said nuisance
<br />within thiity (30) days from the adoption of this resolution, by having said buildings razed or re-
<br />moved; and if said buildings are not so abated by said owners, the Dui}ding Inspector of the City
<br />of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed to raze or remove said buildings; and that the expenses
<br />thereof be made a lien on the lot or parcel of land from which said buildings or structures are re-
<br />moved, and which is hereinabove described.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof,
<br />held on the 6th day of September, 19492 by the following vote:
<br />AYES, and in. favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen:
<br />BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, MORGAN, SPILLERS, SWIFT and WERDER.

<br />DECLARING PREMISES AT 116 PINE STREET A NUISANCE AND ORDERING THEIR ABATEMENT
<br />WITHIN THIRTY DAYS
<br />40 71HEREAS, L. M. DUNCA4T,the Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City, did, as required
<br />by Ordinance No. 303, post a notice to abate nuisance upon the real property situated in said City,
<br />County of San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows:
<br />Portion of N E 1/2 of Lot 9, Block 44, Eastern
<br />Addition, commonly known as 116 Pine Street;
<br />and did send a copy of said notice so posted, by registered mail, postage prepaid, to the owners,
<br />of said real property, as said owners are listed upon the books of the City Assessor of said City
<br />of Redwood City, to -wit: Joe Borra, 116 Pine Street, Redwood City, California; and
<br />WHEREAS in and by said notice to abate nuisance, said Building Inspector of the City of Redwood
<br />City did fix Monday, August 15, 1949, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M1 of said day at the Council
