Councilman Granger moved that the <br />Park and Recreation Department be authorized to proceed - on developing park with planting of shrubs, <br />trees, et4 by Mr. Balzarini up to and not to exceed $5000, and that the program be started this fall, <br />seconded by Councilman Morgan. CityAuditor Bropby reported that a policy <br />of charging the commercial rate on all building having offices was adopted, and stated that any change <br />would present a policing problem which could not be justified from an expense point of view and the <br />question of interpretation would be constantly grounds for discussion and adjustment. Traffic Fact Findin91ommittee made a <br />study of the traffic dondition at this intersection and recommended that there be no parking zones es- <br />tablished on El Camino Real 32 feet north o$hipple and 33 feet south of nipple and on Whipple 43 feet <br />from E1Camino Real on the north side add 56 feet from E1Canino on the south side. Traffic FactFinding Committee had recommended one stop <br />between E1Camino Real and Main Street on south side of Broadway, present stop at Hamilton to be re- <br />moved, two new stops installed, one at Winslow in front of Kuhn's jewelry store and the other at <br />Middlefield in front ofButler Brothers.
