<br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING
<br />FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MkIOR CITY STREETS
<br />• WHEREAS, a first supplemental memorandum of agreement has been presented to be entered into
<br />with the State of California in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City of Redwood
<br />City for expenditure of the gas tax allocation to cities for the fiscal year 1950, and
<br />WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agreement in full and is familiar,with the contents

<br />was his recommendation that building should be abated as a nuisance.

<br />DECLARING PREMISES AT 600 ARGUELLO STREET 4UISANCE AND ORDERING THEIR ABATEMENT WITHIN THIRTY DAYS
<br />WIIEREAS L M DUNC4,the Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City, did, as required by
<br />Ordinance No. 301;. post a notice to abate nuisance upon the real property situated in said City,
<br />County of San Mateo, State of Calikornia, and particularly described as follows:
<br />A tankhouse and well located on property described as Lots 1,20,4,5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
<br />and 12, Block 8,kange B, Mezesville, commonly known as 600 Argu2110 St., "Iedwood City,

<br />and did send a copy of said notice so posted, by registered mailk postage prepaid, to the owners of
<br />said real property, as said owners are listed upon the books of the City Assessor of said City of
<br />Redwood City, to sit: B. L. and Alice B. Solomon, 163 Fiar Oaks Lane, Atherton, California.,
<br />WHEREAS in and by said notice to abate nuisance said Building Inspector of the City of Redwood
<br />City did fix Trionddy, October 17, 1949, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. of said day, at the Council
<br />Chamber in the City Hall on Middlefield Road in said City of Redwood City, as the time and place when
<br />the owners of the buildings situated upon said real property could appear and be heard and show cause
<br />why said buildings should not be condemned as a public nuisance and abated by reconstructing or properly
<br />repairing said buildingsor by razing or removing the same; and
<br />WHEREAS said Council did proceed with said hearing on the 17th day of October, 1949, and after

<br />considering all objections made and received, does determine that due and legal notice of said hearing
<br />was given as required by the ordinances of the City of Redwood City, as appears from the affidavit of
<br />L. M.Duncan on file in the office of the City Clerk;
<br />NOVJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, and,said Council does,
<br />hereby declare, that the buildingsor structures situated upon the real property hereinabove described
<br />are a public nuisance, and does hereby direct the owners thereof to abate said nuisance -within thirty
<br />days from the adoption of this resolution, by having said building razed or removed and by having the
<br />well located under said building filled or properly covered and protected,•,, and if said buildings are not
