Mr.Brophy stated only <br />one recommendation had been made., that of distribution of taxes on basis of collections instead of <br />budget which had been taken care of. Placed on agenda to see i all recommendations had been taken <br />care of. <br />COUNCILMAN GRANGER BROUGHT UP THE SUBJECT OF DISCONTINUING SUBSIDY WITH THE COUNTY 41MULANCE SERVICE if the <br />County could work out a suitable plan. 1iefferbd to City Manager Rolison to work out. <br />COUNCILMAN GRANGER SPOKE -REIA TIVE TO SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE THAT PARKING SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABIE AND THIS <br />SHOUID BE PRESENTED TO PLANNING COMMISSION. <br />COUNCILMAN HOLIdQUIST WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT HAND RAILS WERE TO BE INSTALLED WHEN THE SIDEWALK WAS <br />RAISED IN FRONT OF THE CITY HALL. Britschgi, Floyd D.Granger, A. H. Morgan <br />Jr., Robt V Spillers, A V Swift, Mayor W MITerder and City Clerk R S Dodge. Also present were City <br />Manager E A Rolison, Administrative Assistant Richard D Miller, City Engineer Glenn M Jain, City <br />Attorney C B Currie, Water Superintendent H L Winter and Police Chief S D Wood. Councilman Holmquist <br />noted absent. <br />BURLINGAME CHAMBER OF COMMERCE wrote under date of October 28th regarding a no -host dinner at Alberts Res- <br />taurant, 1465 Burlingame Avenue, Burlingame for the purpose of discussing ways and means of obtaining <br />early completion of the Dayshore Freeway project. Col Skeggs and other State officials will be present. <br />City Manger, City Engineer, Mayor Werder and Councilman Spillers signified their intention of attending. <br />Clerk will so notify Burlingame Chamber of Commerce. <br />COIMVUNICATION FROM WALNUT CREEK CHAMDEROF COM1ZRCE OFFERING $50 FOR BAND UNIFORMS. Explained by City Attonney <br />the usual procedure of advertising for bids, etc., must be followed, however, Councilman Swift moved, <br />seconded by Councilman Britschgi, loan of the uniforms to Walnut Creek band was authorized on condition <br />that the $50 be deposited until bids could be advertised and bid awarded. Motion carried. <br />
