<br />said improvements without compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation,
<br />Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, being Resolution No. 817 on file in the
<br />office of the City Clerk of said City.
<br />All work provided for herein shall be done as provided in Article I of said
<br />Ordinance Ido. 333, as amended.
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that Monday, the 6th day of February, 1950, at the
<br />hour of 8:00 P.M. of said day, at the Council Chamber of said Council of said City,
<br />in the City Hall on IrIiddlefield Road in said City, has been and is hereby fixed as
<br />the day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having any objections to
<br />the proposed work and improvements described herein, or to the grade to which said
<br />work and improvements are to be done and made, or to the district proposed to be
<br />assessed for said work and improvements, may appear before said Council of said City
<br />and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out and
<br />done in accordance with this resolution of intention, or why said work and improve-
<br />ments should not be carried out and done at the grades as shown on the plans profiles,
<br />and detailed drawings referred to herein, and for hearing any protests in relation to
<br />said proposed improvement.
<br />The Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspapers published, printed
<br />and circulated in said City of Redwood City, is hereby designated by the Council of
<br />said City as the newspaper in which to publish this Resolution of Intention as re-
<br />quired by law, and the Clerk of said City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and
<br />directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published in said newspaper
<br />twice, as required by law.
<br />The Street Superintendent of said City of Redwood City shall cause notices of the
<br />passage of this Resolution of Intention to be posted in the time, form, manner and
<br />number as required by law.
<br />The Clerk of said City shall mail notices of the adoption of this Resolution of
<br />Intention to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed, whose names
<br />and addresses appear,on the last equalized assessment roll for said City taxes, prior
<br />thereto, in time, form and manner as required by law.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meet-
<br />ing thereof, held on the 16th day of January, 1950, by the following vote:

<br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HAD JOINT MEETING WITH THE SPECIAL REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE AT NOON ON THIS
<br />DATE and the Real Estate Committee recommended that the Council instruct the City
<br />Attorney to draw up the nexessary lease covering the property that the Council allocated
<br />to the Chamber of Commerce at the Council meeting, October 17, 1949. Attached to the
<br />Committee's letter was a rough draft of some of the items which should be incorporated
<br />in the lease as set forth by the Chamber of Commerce committee and approved by the
<br />Special Real,Estate Committee. Councilmen Holmquist, chairman, Spillers and Britschgi
<br />signed the letter of recommendation. nor. Fred A. Schmitz, President of the Chamber of
<br />Commerce submitted a letter containing suggested items for lease, seconded by Council-
<br />man Britschgi and carried.
