<br />Attorney Currie was directed to take the necessary steps,.resolution to be ready 403
<br />for introduction on February 20th. He will also contact the attorneys in San
<br />Francisco for their opinion on the matter.

<br />PROVIDING FOR DISTRIBUTION OF SURPLUS
<br />REDWOOD TERRACE No. 1.
<br />I RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, California, that
<br />IHEREAS, an assessment has been levied and confirmed by this Council pursuant to
<br />its Resolution of Intention No. 392, adopted September 3, 1946;
<br />WHEREAS, said assessment will realize a larger sum than is necessary for said
<br />improvements;
<br />WHEREAS,. said Council pursuant to its Resolution No. 432, adopted February 3,
<br />1947, ordered a partial distribution of surplus and did provide therein that the
<br />reduction of assessments numbered 73 to 183, inclusive, be postponed until the com-
<br />pletion of the work and that at said time they each be reduced by that percentage of
<br />the balance of said surplus that each of said assessments bears to the whole .amount
<br />of said assessments numbered 73 to 183, inclusive, and did provide therein that where
<br />such assessment or any installment thereof has been paid in cash, said credit shall
<br />be returned in cash to the owner paying same; and

<br />ii WHEREAS, said work has been completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer;
<br />is NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that assessments numbered 73 to 183, inclusive,
<br />be reduced according to the provisions of said resolution, as follows:
<br />That the amounts set opposite assessments numbered 73 to 183, inclusive, as. -
<br />shown below, be reduced by the amount set opposite each -of them:
