454k,. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED AMENDMENT TO SECTION 15, ZONING -ORDINANCE No. 600, to <br />allow professional offices in R Districts within 100 feet of any C or M District, <br />subject to obtaining a use permit in each case from the Planning Commission. Coun- <br />cilman Morgan moved this be carried on agenda, Council to receive copies of proposed <br />amendment in order to study before taking any action, seconded by Councilman Holmquist <br />and carried. <br />SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS - ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS AND HOPKINS AVENUE. Affidavits of publica- <br />tion, posting and mailing ordered filed by the Mayor. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON ABOVE. There were no protests. <br />RESOLUTION No. 847-A ORDERING SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING FOR BIDS, ALAMEDA DE LAS <br />and HOPKINS AVENUE, was offered by Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman <br />Morgan and carried on roll call. <br />Resolution No. 847-A on Page No- 455• <br />RES0LUTI ON No. 84 _A <br />RESOLUTION . FIXING _ MINIMUM .:WAGE ._SCALE _ <br />ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS AND HOPKINS AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City has ascertained the <br />general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work <br />is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in <br />Resolution of Intention No. 842, adopted March 6, 19502 by the City Council of the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifi- <br />cations for said project, copies of which are on file in the office os said City <br />Engineer and also in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and <br />finds the same to be correct in all particulars; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of. Redwood City <br />as follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above- <br />mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for <br />work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which said <br />public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2. That no less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be <br />paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention <br />No. 842. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof, held on the 3rd day of April, 1950, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGA, SPILLERS, SWIFT and WERDER. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: NONE <br />W.
