FIXING _ MINIMUM .:WAGE ._SCALE _ ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS AND HOPKINS AVENUE WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 842, adopted March 6, 19502 by the City Council of the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifi- cations for said project, copies of which are on file in the office os said City Engineer and also in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of. Redwood City as follows: 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above- mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed. 2. That no less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention No. 842. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 3rd day of April, 1950, by the following vote: AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGA, SPILLERS, SWIFT and WERDER.
