A new Section 3.1 is added to said Rules and Regulations, to reas as <br />follows: <br />Section 3.1 SPECIAL RULES FOR ALL AREAS OUTSIDE THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br />I� (1) NEW SERVICES. The Redwood City Water Department reserves the right <br />to determine the size of meter and service connections. No new service con- <br />nections shall be:added to any existing overloaded distribution lines. Normally, <br />20 consumers shall constitute a maximum number of services connected to any 2 <br />inch distribution line or its equivalent. <br />(2) EXTENSION OF NEW MAINS. Where no mains exist, new mains will be exten- <br />ded at cost of consumer or applicant, provided pressure and supply are adequate <br />to warrant such extension, as determined by the Water Department. All installa- <br />tions to be and remain the property of the City. <br />(3) OTHER RULES AND REGULATIONS. All other rules and regulations of the <br />Redwood City Water Department not in conflict with the above shall apply to the <br />Emerald Lake Area and all other outside consumers. <br />4. BRITSCHGI <br />RESOLUTION No. 864 FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE, POPLAR, VIRGINIA, and JUNIPERO AVENUES. <br />c Councilman Werder offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman <br />f <br />i <br />Holmquist and carried on roll call. <br />RES 0LUTI O N No. 864 <br />E RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE <br />POPLAR, VIRGINIA AND JUNIPERO AVENUES <br />f WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of'Redwood City has ascertained the general <br />prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work is pro- <br />posed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution <br />of Intention No. 858, adopted April 17, 1950, by the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifi- <br />cations for said project, copies of which are on file in the office of said City <br />Engineer and also in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds <br />j the same to be correct in all particulars; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br />Y as follows: <br />1 t <br />j 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above- <br />mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work <br />of a similar character to that above discribed in the locality in which said public <br />work is proposed to be performed. <br />i <br />i 2.
