<br />WHEREAS the Council of Redwood City, on August 21, 1950, passed and adopted Resolution No. 950, which
<br />resolution declared said Councills intention to vacate and abandon as a public easement, certain ease-
<br />ments in Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Redwood Industrial Tract, Redwood City, California; and
<br />WHEREAS said resolution fixed the date of September 18, 1950, as the date of the hearing in the City
<br />Hall, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.I.L , on said Councills intention to vacate and abandon .said easements
<br />in Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Redwood Industrial Tract, in the City of Redwood City; and
<br />MIEREAS the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City conspicuously posted along said
<br />said easements pro osed to be vacated and abandoned, in,three places along said easements and at least
<br />ten days before the date fixed for the hearing on said abandonment, a notice of intention to vacate cer-
<br />tain public easements ,in Lots 1 and 23 Block 3, Redwood Industrial Tract in the City of, Redwood City; and
<br />11HEREAS said Resolution No. 950 was duly published in the Redwood .City Tribune, a daily (except
<br />Sunday) newspaper, published., printed and circulated in the City of Redwood City, all as required by law; and
<br />WHEREAS no protest or objection to the abandonment and vacation of said easements in Lots 1 and 2.
<br />Block 3, Redwood Industrial Tract in the City of Redwood City, as public easements, was made at said
<br />hearing;
<br />ROW) THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby declare and
<br />order that the real property hereinafter described is vacated and abandoned as a public easement:
<br />The northeasterly fifteen (15) feet of the southwesterly twenty-five (25)
<br />foot easement adjoining the most southerly boundary of Lots 1 and 2 in
<br />Block 3 and the public utility easement six (6) feet wide adjoining the
<br />most easterly boundary of Lot 1 in Block 3i as said easements are desig-
<br />nated on the map entitled "REDWOOD INDUSTRIAL TRACT NO. 1 SUBDIVISION
<br />OF PORTION OF LOT 1, MAP OF SUBDIVISION OF Si1EENEY RANCH BOOK "C" OF MAPS,
<br />PAGE 36, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA," -which map was filed in the office of
<br />the Recorder of the County of San Pdateo, State of California; on August 152
<br />1947, in Book 27 of 11aps at Pages 39 and 40 -
<br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of said City of Redwood City be and he is hereby ordered to
<br />record a certified ropy of this resolution in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County,
<br />California.
