The Oak, Reese <br />Johnson job was approximately 4% under the engineers estimate while the Alameda job was approximately <br />e <br />17% higher* Councilman Morgan was concerned over the fact that only two bids were received in nearly <br />all projects contemplated. Then followed discussion regarding penalty clause in contract. City Attorney <br />stated job was bonded and the City had ample protection thereby- -Councilman Spillers introduced resolu- <br />tion awarding contract for the Oak Reese Johnson contract, and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman <br />z <br />HerHner, and carried on roll call.
