Sworn testimony of the <br />Building Inspector was taken by the City Attorney, Mr, Duncan stated he had inspect» <br />ted the premises at 1 16 Main Street, notices were posted and mailed, proceedings <br />were continued to this date from December 4th. He further testified that the building <br />had inadequate foundations; floors in bad condition; structure in unsound condition <br />throughout; inadequate wiring; frame building in 1st Fire Zone; building cannot be <br />repaired for 25% of value; and in his opinion the building definitely should be razed, <br />Fire Chief Lodi was present and on question by City Attorney Currie stated Fire <br />Inspector Richard Drivon inspected the building and written report beofre the <br />Attorney was signed and submitted by him. <br />RESOLUTION No. 1012 - Councilman Xorgan offered resolution and moved adoption to abate <br />premises 1416 Main Street, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried on roll call. <br />Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />ABATEMENT BUILDINGS 2071 to 2093'Broadway. Mayor Britschgi asked about this. City Clerk <br />Dodge stated this was to come up on the agenda the 2nd meeting in February. <br />SALARY ORDINANCE INCREASING SALARIES $10.00 per month, amending Salary Ordinance No. 6G3. <br />Affidavit of publication was ordered filed by the Mayor. <br />ADOPTION SALARY ORDINANCE 660 increasing salaries $10.00 per month and amending salary <br />Ordinance 603, was moved for adoption by Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman <br />Royer and carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />Councilman Granger asked if the Employees Association was furnished with a copy of <br />the findings of the Personnel Board in regard to the salary increase. Administrative <br />Assistant Miller assured him a copy was given to the President of the Association, <br />Fire Marshall Drivon and it was also posted on several bulletin boards for the <br />convenience of the employees. <br />RESOLUTION 1013 TRANSFERRING 010015.02 to the Unbudgeted Reserve from various accounts <br />was offered and moved for adoption by Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Jones <br />and carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent. <br />RESOLUTION No. 1014 AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF 0$,160.00 from Unbudgeted Reserve to various <br />Salary Accounts was offered by Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Jones and <br />carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers noted absent <br />COMMUNICATION FROM EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION REGARDING RECENT SALARY INCREASE. A letter <br />signed by Richard Drivon, President, thanked the Council for the $10.00 per month <br />wage increase. Some were disappointed that the Associations request for a 025.00 <br />increase was not granted, and the letter stated a committee would further study wage <br />64b'AtU <br />RBPOR <br />
