After considerable discussion Councilman Herkner movedif <br />amendment of the original motion to set up the amounts of deposit as 050 for the <br />first 60 feet and ti �25 for each additional 50 fest, frontage to be determined by the <br />facing of the building. Councilman Royer seconded the motion to amend, and ! <br />after Councilman Spiller's objections, carried on roll call, Councilman Jones ` <br />and Spillers voting Ido. Councilman Granger <br />suggested the League be contacted with the thought in mind of having a competent <br />speaker at the next Peninsula meeting to cover the subject. <br />A:RIEXATION LOTS Z to 7, BLOCK 1, KENSINGTON SQUARE. Planning Commission recommended <br />the annexation, excluding the street on which the lots face. Councilman Spillers <br />moved approval of the Planning Commission recommendation; and offered Resolutionlit <br />moving adoption, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried on roll call. Council- <br />man Morgan noted absent. <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT ON RESIDENCES IN COMMERCIAL ZONES. This could be controlled by <br />the issuance of Use Permit which ' would eliminate certain types of business. It <br />was <br />generally agreed that professions such as doctorsj, dentists etc. 0 would not <br />be unsatisfactory for this type of building.
