Leslie, Water Superintendent H.L.Winter and City Collector P.E.Perrin. <br />i <br />BUTCHER FIELD AND EXTENSION OF FRANKLIN STREET. Mr. R. J.Wood appeared and requested a <br />final answer regarding the City taking over a portion for parking area. Mayor Brit- <br />I <br />';; !. <br />schgi explained the committee had discussed the matter thoroughly and had attempted <br />I <br />to get an answer from the Southern Pacific Company regarding the change in alignment <br />i, <br />of Franklin Street whereby right-of-way would miss the Davies' property thereby <br />causinga n �� <br />dog-leg Mr. Wood stated he had to have an answer,soon as permit to <br />y <br />build had been extended one week which was soon to expire. Aftereneral discussion, <br />g <br />i <br />it was decided that the Council meet with Southern Pacific representatives, Mr. Wood, <br />City Attorney Currie, Thursday PM, in an effort to reach an agreement. Councilman <br />Royer so moved, seconded by Councilman Spillers. Motion carried. <br />I <br />CANVASS ON VOTE ON SPECIAL BOND ELECTION. Tally sheets from each of the twenty-one pre- <br />cincts were checked and unofficial returns were found to be correct. Councilman <br />Granger offered Resolution 1063 declaring results of the electionv seconded by <br />Councilman Royer, and carried on roll call.
