Councilman Spillers <br />spoke vigorously against the recommendation, as did Mayor Britschgi. Motion seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. <br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COIRQTTEE REPORT ON PROPOSED TRAFFIC ORDINANCE. Letter for Carl Sandberg was read by City Clerk <br />wherein it was stated that in their opinion building was not in a dangerous condition since installation <br />,Iifl, of strengthening timbers. Mayor Britschgi urged that this letter be disregarded and the Michels be held <br />.�I' I <br />II to their agreement agreeing to tear down building at the conclusion of the lease. Assistant City Attorney <br />it explained that Michels had filed a suit to enjoin the City from proceeding, which suit was still pending <br />o';J If �Ij I; ! Councilman Royer stated he was against this action until an ordinance strong enough to back UP <br />this action was adopted.
