<br />,' Il Councilman Morgan moved approval of recommendation, seconded by Councilman Jones. Councilman Spillers
<br />spoke vigorously against the recommendation, as did Mayor Britschgi. Councilman Jones thought the plan
<br />should be tried for 90 days, while Councilman Herkner asked what other cities were doing. Councilman

<br />jh' for information as to other cities, also to check into the number of times individual officers would be
<br />expected to appear in court. Motion seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried.
<br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COIRQTTEE REPORT ON PROPOSED TRAFFIC ORDINANCE. Copy of the findings of the committee
<br />were mailed to Council, however, it was decided to place on the agenda for the meeting of July 16th.

<br />FURTHER DISCUSSION ABATEMENT MICHEL BLDG. 1. 16 MAIN STREET. Letter for Carl Sandberg was read by City Clerk
<br />wherein it was stated that in their opinion building was not in a dangerous condition since installation
<br />,Iifl, of strengthening timbers. Mayor Britschgi urged that this letter be disregarded and the Michels be held

<br />II to their agreement agreeing to tear down building at the conclusion of the lease. Assistant City Attorney
<br />it explained that Michels had filed a suit to enjoin the City from proceeding, which suit was still pending
