acquired, are shown on maps of record in the office of the County Recorder of the 33 <br />County of San Mateo, State of California, and shall be shown.upon the plans, profiles <br />detailed drawings and specifications herein referred to and to be filed with the <br />Clerk of said City. <br />22. All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at the places and <br />in the particular locations, of the forms, sizes, dimensions and materials, and at <br />the lines, grades and elevations, as shown and delineated upon the plans, profiles <br />and detailed drawings to be made therefor, as hereinafter provided. <br />23. There is to be excepted from the work above described any of such work <br />already done to line and grade and marked excepted or shown not to be done on said <br />plans, profiles and detailed drawings. <br />24. Said Council does hereby adopt and establish as the official grades for <br />said work the grades and elevations to be shown upon said plans, profiles and detailed <br />drawings. All such grades and elevations are to be in feet and decimals thereof <br />with reference to the datum plane of the City of Redwood City. <br />25. Notice is hereby given of the fact that in many cases said work and improve- <br />ment will bring the finished work to a gradedifferent from that formerly existing, <br />and that to said extent said grades are hereby changed and that said work will be <br />done to said changed grades. <br />26. The City Council will contribute to the cost of said project the difference <br />between the cost of a 10 -inch and a 12 -inch water line in Marshall Street between <br />Jefferson Avenue and Chestnut Street. <br />27. Said contemplated acquisitions and improvements, in the opinion of the City <br />Council of said City, are of more than local or ordiriary public benefit, and said <br />Council does hereby make the balance of the costs and expenses thereof chargeable <br />upon an assessment district, which district said Council declares to be the district <br />benefited by said improvements and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses <br />thereof, the exterior boundaries of which district are the composite and coterminous <br />exterior boundaries of the following described property: <br />COMMENCING in the center of Arguello Street at 103 feet northwesterly <br />of Marshall Street; thence northeasterly parallel to Marshall Street to <br />Warren Street; thence northeasterly across Warren Street to 115 feet north- <br />westerly of Marshall Street; thence northeasterly to the southwesterly corner <br />of Lot 7, Block 4, â–ºfain Street Lots; thence northerly along the westerly <br />line of Lots 6 and 7, said Block, to the northerly line of said Lot 6 to <br />Winslow Street; thence northeasterly across Winslow Street to 150 feet <br />northwesterly of Marshall Street; thence northeasterly parallel to Marshall <br />Street to the center of Jefferson Avenue; thence northwesterly to the inter- <br />section of said line with the center of Bradford Street; thence northeast- <br />erly to the intersection of said line with the center of Redwood Creek;. <br />thence northeasterly along said center line to Bayshore Boulevard 125 feet <br />wide; thence southeasterly along said Boulevard to the northeasterly pro- <br />duction of the southeasterly line of Redwood Industrial Tract No. 1; thence <br />southerly along said line and its production to Bay Road before widening; <br />thence westerly along Bay Road to the northwesterly line of Willow Street; <br />thence southerly along said line of Willow Street to the center line of <br />Spring Street; thence westerly along said line of Spring Street to the cen- <br />ter line of Maple Street; thence southwesterly along said center line to <br />165 feet southerly at right angles to Broadway; thence westerly parallel <br />to Broadway to 100 feet westerly of Walnut Street; thence northerly parallel <br />to Walnut Street to the southerly line of Lot 17, Main Street lots; thence <br />westerly along said lot line produced westerly to Redwood 'Creek; thence <br />westerly across Redwood Creek to 150 feet southerly of Marshall Street; <br />thence westerly parallel to Marshall Street to Winslow Street; thence <br />westerly across Winslow Street to the southeasterly corner of Lot 7, Block <br />5, Town of Mezesville; thence westerly along said lot line to Lot 5, said <br />Block; thence southerly along the rear line of Lots 8, 9, and 10, said <br />Block; to 40 feet southerly of the northerly line of Broadway; thence <br />westerly along said line to the center line of Arguello Street; thence <br />northwesterly along said center line to the point of commencement. <br />28. Said City Council further declares that all public streets, highways and <br />other publicly owned property within said assessment district, in use in the per- <br />formance of a public function as such, shall be omitted from the assessment here- <br />after to be made to cover the costs the expenses of said acquisitions and improve- <br />ments. <br />29. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments, <br />and bear interest at the rate of not to exceed six per cent (6f) per annum, will be <br />issued hereunder in the manner provided by Article I of Ordinance No. 333 entitled <br />"Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance", as amended (Improvement Act of 1911 <br />type), the last installment of which bonds shall mature fourteen years from the <br />second day of January next succeeding the next November 15th following their date. <br />Said bonds shall be made payable to bearer. <br />30. Except as herein otherwise provided for the issuance of bonds, all of <br />said proceedings will be had pursuant to Article II -A of Ordinance No. 333 of the <br />City of Redwood City entitled "Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance".9 as <br />amended (Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 type), and Ordinance No. 515 of said <br />City as amended, establishing procedure pursuant to Section 17 of Article XIII of <br />the Constitution of the State of California. <br />31 Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 3rd day of July, 19500 at the hour <br />of eight o'clock P.
