JOHN NKATAN, CHAIRMAN OF THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE, REPORTED ON THE MEETING HELD <br />for <br />THIS AFTERNOON AT 4 PM. The committee was of the opinion unanimously that celebration <br />should be held this year inasmuch as the first ship and the first house was built in <br />'ranklin <br />the yar 1851. While they felt that several things would enter into the matter such <br />as weather conditions, Christmas Season, etclk they still recommended two day cele- <br />led. <br />:. <br />bration to be held on December 7th and 8th, Friday and Saturday nights. Offer awards for displays. <br />Open house for all the people in Redwood City providing huge birthday cake <br />to be cut on Saturday, December 8th; old time dance should be held, location <br />to be selected later. <br />6.
