This section bordered the Oak Ridge Subdivision and had been discussed with Mr. Ignotz, 810 Canyon Road who had applied for annexation on behalf of the residents. Mr. Ignotz advised City Engineer Jain that the people were aware that the sewer lines must be constructed to connect with those in Jefferson Avenue or the Oak Ridge Tract and that possibly .� storm drains might have to be constructed at the same time in order to properly handle the storm water runoff. Although this would further overload the small sanitary sewer main in Jefferson Avenue, it was the City Engineer's recommendation that this area be annexed to the City. It would be necessary, in the near future, to construct a large interceptor sewer between the Hudson Street area and the Pulgas and Bayshore Interceptors in order to handle the increased sanitary sewer runoff from the large developments in the western portion of the City.
