Hedahl-Martin Company submitted a statement of com- <br />pleted work in the amount of 011,174.40. which was approved for payment by City Engin- <br />eer Jain and presented to the Council. Councilman Morgan moved that payment be made, <br />seconded by Councilman Herkner, and carried. <br />FINAL ACCEPTANCE, LENOLT TRACT, WAS RECOMMENDED BY 'City Engineer Jain subject to defective <br />materials or'workmanship which might become apparent within a reasonable time and <br />that contractor L. C. Smith Company be so notified. Work was conpleted June 26, 1950 <br />except for two or three minor corrections which the contractor had agreed to take <br />care of. City Attorney "Currie stated the assessment diagram had not been filed, <br />therefore, Councilman Morgan moved this be carried on the agenda until the next <br />meeting, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />RESOLUTION No. 901 ESTABLISHING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1950-51. Coun- <br />cilman Morgan offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Granger. <br />It was suggested that City Manager Rolison look into the possibility of renting of <br />equipment and report facts and figures to the Council. The motion carried on roll <br />call, Councilman Spillers noted absent. Councilman Morgan moved that City Manager <br />Rolison check on the rental of equipment, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />R E S O L U T I O N No. 901 <br />RESOLUTION CONCERNING EXPENDITURE CONTROLLING °EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT <br />FUND". <br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, that the equipment <br />replacement budget appropriation for the fiscal year 1950-51 be placed in an <br />"Equipment Replacement Fund" to be reserved for the purchase of replacements for <br />the individual items of equipment as specified below.
