couple of things to agree on Councilman Spillers moved that this be duly and regu- 5 <br />larly continued to the next meeting, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />Affidavit of posting was ordered filed by the Mayor. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVED FINAL MAP OF TERRACE SHOPPING CENTER, WOODSIDE TERRACE No. 1 <br />subject to (1) minimum of 3 to 2 ratio of offstreet parking provided, (2) areas <br />reserved for parking (Lot 1, Block 2, and Lot 1, Block 1) be reserved by perpetual <br />deed restriction that can be released only by mutual consent of the City and property <br />otivner, (3) Deed restriction be put on property restricting it against any residential <br />use, except on Lot 2, Block 1, (4) that any technical errors be corrected -as requested <br />by City Engineer, (5) all provisions of the subdivision ordinance be complied with. <br />Councilman Spillers moved approval subject to recommendations of the Planning Commis- <br />sion with the provision that a 5/7 vote of the Council would be necessary to release <br />reserved area for parking, seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried. <br />PLAI11ING COMMISSION APPROVED FINAL MAP OF CORDILLERAS PARK ADDITION, subject to (1) Sub- <br />division boundary be moved 50' northerly on future Industrial Street to give access <br />to Lot 13 Block 9, (2) on Lots 8, 99 10 of Block 9 which are not a part of the sub- <br />division because they are partially in San Carlos, that a map be filed if requested <br />by the Planning Commission, (3) that utility easements be shown as recommended by <br />utility companies, (4) that all technical errors be corrected as required by City <br />Engineer, (5) that improvement plans be approved by City Engineer, (6) that all pro- <br />bisions of subdivision ordinance be complied with. Councilman Spillers moved approval <br />of recommendation, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />RESOLUTION No. 905. Councilman Jones offered resolution to start proceedings to annex a <br />small part of proposed Cordilleras Park located in San Carlos, seconded by Council- <br />man Spillers and carried on roll call. <br />R E S O L U T I O N No. 905 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY GIVING NOTICE <br />OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY DESIG- <br />NATED AS "CORDILLERAS PARK ADDITION" TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br />WREREAS, under the provisions of that certain Act of the Legislature of the <br />State of California, entitled "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939", <br />proceedings for the annexation to the City of Redwood City of the territory here- <br />inafter particularly described have been initiated by the filing of a petition for <br />annexation to the City of Redwood City of the territory hereinafter described, by <br />FRANK FERRERO, MES. ANNIE FERRERO, THEODORE REVIGLIO, AMELIA REVIGLIO, WILLIAM G. <br />MOORE and JOHN D. TEEIANEY, the owners of the property in said territory proposed <br />to be annexed; and <br />WHEREAS the exterior boundaries of said territory described in said petition <br />and which territory is contiguous to the limits of the City of Redwood City, County <br />of San Mateo, State of California, are described as follows, to wit: <br />BEGINNING at an angle point in the line dividing the corporate limits <br />Of the City of San Carlos from the cor orate limits of the City of Redwood <br />City, said point being distant N 470 gtv E 367.20 feet from the most north- <br />erly corner of Lot 26 in Block 2 as designated on the map entitled "Heather <br />Gardens, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California", which map was filed <br />in the office of the Recorder of the County.of San Mateo, State of Califor- <br />nia on December 1949 in Book 31 of Mas at page 2; thence from said point <br />of beginning, leaving said common corporate limit line N 1j70 041 L;2" E 2060-37 <br />to the center line of a proposed 80 foot service road; thence S 4 0 58' 08 E <br />along said proposed center line 211 feet more or less to the east and west <br />center line of Section 18 Township 5 South Range 3 W Mount Diablo base and <br />meridian, said line also being the common corporate limit line above mentioned; <br />thence west along said section center line and its westerly extension 310 feet <br />more or less to the point of beginning; <br />and <br />WHEREAS the aforesaid petition for annexation of the territory hereinbefore <br />described to the Cit of Redwood City.9 numicipal corporation, has been filed with <br />and received by the Council of Redwood City; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City resolves as follows: <br />1.
