Councilman <br />Royer offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Spillers <br />and carried on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION No. 910 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE - FRIENDLY ACRES <br />VVHEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained the general pre- <br />vailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work is <br />proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described in <br />Resolution of Intention No. 909, adopted July 17, 1950, by the Council of Redwood <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the speci- <br />fications for said project, copies of which are on file in the office of said <br />Engineer and also in the office of the Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds <br />the same to be correct in all particulars; <br />NOVI, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above- <br />mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for <br />work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which said <br />public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2. That�no less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall <br />be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention <br />No. 909. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof, held on the 17th day of July, 1950, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: GRANGER, HERKNER, JONES, MORGAN, ROYER, SPILLERS, and Mayor BRITSCHGL <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: NONE <br />CARL A.
