<br />ORDERING CALL FOR BIDS - FRIENDLY ACRES
<br />RESOLVED by the Council of Redwood City as follows.-

<br />Sealed proposals or bids are hereby invited for doing all of the work, described
<br />lution of Intention No. 909 adopted by said Council on July 17, 1950, to which
<br />in Reso
<br />reference is hereby made for further particulars.

<br />2.' The Clerk of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed, to post a notice con-
<br />spicuouslyo
<br />for five (5) days on or near the Council 'Chamber door of the Council of
<br />Redwood inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and making the
<br />dworood City,
<br />improvements described in Resolution of Intention No., 909.,
<br />3, The Clerk of Redwood City is ordered and directed to publish.a notice inviting
<br />bids for the work described in Resolution of Intention No. 909, for
<br />sealed proposals or
<br />the period required by law, in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) news-
<br />paper of general circulation, published, printed and circulated in the City of Redwood
<br />City and hereby designated for that purpose by the Council of said City. Said notice
<br />shall refer to the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications on file in
<br />the office of the City Clerk for a detailed description of the work to be done.
<br />4. Said sealed proposals or bids will be publicly opened, examined, and declared
<br />by the Council of Redwood City in the Council Chamber at or about the hour of 8:00
<br />o'clock P. M. on August 14th 1950, and all bids must be filed with the Clerk of the
<br />Council of Redwood City on or before such date and hour.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting
<br />thereof, held on the 17th day of July, 1950, by the following vote:

<br />STREETS
<br />WHEREAS, on the July 3, 1950 the City Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />adopted a Resolution of Preliminary Determination to make public improvements in the
<br />City of Redwood City being Resolution No. 903 of said Counoil, to construct certain
<br />Public improvements more particularly described therein, and did fix therein this
<br />date as the time andlace when and where any and all persons interested may appear
<br />and show cause, if any they have, why the City Council should not find and determine
<br />that the public convenience and necessity require the improvements described and
<br />referred to in said resolution wihtout compliance with the Special Assessment,
<br />Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931; and
<br />WHEREAS notice of the adoption of said resolution and of said time and place of
<br />hearing was given by the City Clerk by publication and posting for the time and in
<br />the manner provided in said resolution and Ordinance Pio. 515 of the City of Redwood
<br />City, as appears from the affidavits on file with the 'City Clerk; and
<br />firstWMEAS no persons objectingto the undertaking of said proceedings without
<br />complyin ith the provisions of said Special Assessment, Investigation, Limi-
<br />tation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931 have filed written objections thereto with
