G <br />t <br />ff1 <br />Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, recommendation was approved. <br />TRAFFIC STUDY COMMITTEE RECOMMEND STOP SIGN ON BROADWAY WEST OF CHESTNUT. Councilman <br />Spillers offered RESOLUTION No. 1266 and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman <br />Herkner and carried on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION NO« 1267 DIRECTING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS STORM DRAIN -EASEMENT REDWOOD <br />INDUSTRIAL TRACT No. 21. Resolution offered by Councilman Spillers who moved adoption, <br />seconded by Councilman Jones ,and carried on roll call. <br />FRIEND <br />AGREEMENT AUTHORIZING EASEMENT THROUGH 8&B INDUSTRIAL TRACT NO. a. Mayor and City <br />Clerk authorized to sign agreement on motion of Councilman Britschgi and seconded <br />by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />APPROVE FINAL MAP, KANSAS TRACT. Planning Commission recommended approval subject to deed <br />for a right-of-way to the rear of the tract for drainage purposes. The deed was <br />received by the City Engineer and Councilman Spillers moved approval, seconded by <br />Councilman Herkner, and carried. <br />COUNCILMAN SPILLERS MOVED CITY CLERK BE AUTHORIZED TO ACCEPT THE DEED OF EASEMENT MENTIONED <br />in above paragraph. Motion seconded°by Councilman Jones and carried. - <br />MAYOR GRANGER COMMENTED ON THE PRACTICE A FEW YEARS AGO OF USING THE NAMES OF DECEASED <br />SERVICE MEN IN NAMING STREETS. He suggested calling this to the attention of the <br />Planning Commission to reaffirm the practice of the previous Council. <br />PLANNING COIv1Is'IISSION RECOMMEND VARIANCE TO ALLOV.1 15' SETBACK, LOTS 2, 3, and 4., BLOCK 2, <br />REESE SUBDIVISION, APPLICATION OF MR. W. PARSLEY. Recommendation approved,` "and Coun- <br />cilman Jones offered RESOLUTION No. 1268 and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman <br />Spillers, and carried on roll call. <br />PLANNING COVIIISSION RECODUVIENDED APPROVAL APPLICATION FOR MARY CEREGHINO TO RESUBDIVIDE <br />PORTION OF LOT 17, BLOCK 248., VALOTA PARK into two lots, 80' x 675' each. Recommen- <br />dation approved on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilwoman Tinney and <br />carried. <br />PLANNING COMI4ISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF WI+i HORRELL APPLICATION TO RESUBDIVIDE LOTS 1 <br />& 3, Block 15, Oak Knoll Manor into 2 lots, subject to minimum frontage of 60' and <br />new sewer lateral to be at owner's expense. Approved on motion of Councilman Spillers, <br />seconded by Councilman Herkner, and carried. <br />APPLICATION LEONARD REALTY CO. TO RESUBDIVIDE LOT 11, BLOCK 11, OAK NOLL MANOR. Dropped <br />from agenda. <br />APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO SELL "SAFE AND SANE" FIREWORKS. Premises were inspected by <br />Fire Marshal Driven, and found complying with regulations.
