WALT MALONEYfS LETTER WAS READ BY CITY CLERK DODGE expressing appreciation for work of <br />Police Department during the recent Rodeo and celebration, which was ordered filed. <br />RESOLUTION No. 1303 APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM, STAMBAUGH STREET SEWERS, was offered by <br />Councilman Spillers who moved adoption, seconded by Councilwoman Tinney and carried <br />on roll call. <br />LETTER FROM RESIDENTS OF EAGLE HILL TERRACE REQUESTING ESTENSION OF WATER LINE AND A FIRE <br />HYDRANT. Water Superintendent Winter stated that this area was served with a small <br />2 inch line and the pressure tested around 30 pounds at the meter. He stated further <br />that the nearest take -off at the Hatch-Hetchy line was at Vera Avenue. After dis- <br />cussion Councilman Britschgi moved that City Engineer and Water Superintendent make <br />a study and bring back a report, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />RESOLUTION No. 1304. City Attorney Currie explained the resolution was authorizing' <br />issuance of a deed to property adjacent to Firehouse No. 1 to Mr. J. Poole, who in <br />turn would deed property the City is interested in to the City. He further suggested <br />that in line with understanding City Manager be authorized to write a letter to Mr. <br />Poole agreeing to his occupying building for six months rent free and the succeeding <br />six months at 01100 per month rental, it being understood he would occupy the building <br />only as long as necessary to allow completion of his new building.
