After further discussion regarding the water conditions running on <br />Middlefield Road and the failure of the contractor to clean up streets when requested <br />to do so by the Engineer, Councilman Royer moved that the matter be placed on the <br />1 August 4th agenda, City Engineer to bring in a further report and recommendation at <br />that time. Motion seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />PROGRESS ESTIMATE No. 1, STERLING BUILDING COMPANY, GOODWIN AVENUE PROJECT, $12,483-13- <br />This Is the contract for whiohthe School District has deposited the money with the <br />City to be released when approved by the City Engineer. Councilman Harkner moved <br />approval of the estimate, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />FREE PERFORMANCE OF BEE BEE, THE CLOWN at the Recreation Center was approved on motion <br />of Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />RESOLUTION No. 1323 OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION, SIERRA STREET IMPROVEMENTS, setting <br />date of hearing for August 11th, offered by Councilman Spillers, who moved adoption, <br />seconded by Councilman Royer and carried on roll call. BROWN APPEAL THE PLANNING COMMISSION REFUSAL TO <br />GRANT PERMIT to operate a rest home at 1324 Hopkins Avenue.
