City Manager Roison stated that <br />this was'for annexations for neer areas to the City, not any property which is in the City now. Councilman <br />Britschgits motion lost for lack of a second. <br />Councilman Royer moved that this be set for a study meeting, seconded by Councilman Spillers. On the <br />question, Councilman Britschgi asked that the City ¢ttorney be instructed to check into the possibility of <br />raising the building permit fees. Councilman Stout spoke in regard to making a charge on new homes and <br />billing them at the time permits are being issued, the charge to be for recreational facilities and other <br />services. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Herkner asked that the Council approve the Clerk writing to the banks asking them to segregate City and <br />County taxes on their statements which are sent to people having bank loans. He is very much disturbed by <br />the publicity and calls he has received in regard to City taxes. Councilman Royer moved approval of the <br />Mayor's suggestion, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />O <br />CLAIMS #17964 to #18062, totaling $88,665.65, were approved for apyment on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded <br />by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />Councilman Spillers moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. Don Armstrong, Pastor Calvary Baptist Church. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Carl A. Britschgi, Floyd D. Granger, Paul Jones, <br />William H. Royer, Robert V. Spillers,' Hiram S. Stout, Mayor Sidney D. Herkner and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. <br />A1sd present were City Manager E. A. Rolison, City Attorney C. B. Currie, Police Chief William Faulstich, <br />Water Superintendent H. L. Winter, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, City Engineer Glenn 11. Jain, Building Inspector <br />S. H. Kreiss, Assistant Water Superintendent Warren Mitchell, Police Sergeant Theordore Moudakas, Planning <br />Consultant Thorton Conrow, and Park and Recreation Commissioner Irving Gold, and Account -Clerk Vivian <br />Holmquist. <br />The minutes of December 5, 1955, were approved as mailed on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman <br />Royer and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, FURTHER CONSIDERATION H. C. LINDGREN APPLICATION TO RESUBDIVIDE LOT 8, BLOCK 9, WELLESLEY PARK <br />(501 Edgewood Road). Affidavit of publication was ordered filed.
