HOLMES,'INC., $17,640.00. RESOLUTION TRANSFER OF FUNDS. <br />Councilman Britschgi offered RESOLUTION 2096 TRANSFERRING $23,560.00. FROM THE UNALLOCATED CAPITAL FUND <br />and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Herkner. This was followed by disdussion as to why this <br />transfer was necessary. RESOLUTION TRANSFER <br />OF DUNDS♦ Councilman Britschgi offered RESOLUTION 2097 TRANSFERRING $59,752.00 FROM THE UNALLOCATED <br />CAPITAL FUND and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried on roll`call with Councilmen <br />Spillers and Stout being noted absent. <br />PROGRESS ESTIMATE NO. 23 INDUSTRIAL WAY IMPROVEMENTS, OSCAR C. HOLMES, INC., $27,158.40 was ordered paid on <br />motion of Councilman Herkner, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. <br />PROGRESS ESTIMATE NO. 4, PARKING LOT IV, OSCAR C. HOLMES.. INC., $43,053.58. Councilman Britschgi moved approval <br />of the recommendation of the City Manager and City Engineer to pay Oscar C. Holmes, seconded by Councilman <br />Granger and carried. <br />PRQGRESS ESTIMATE NO. 2 & FINAL,. BEECH STREET IMPROVEMENTS, BAUMAN BROTHERS, $6,290.07, was ordered paid on <br />motion of Councilman Herkner, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL TENTATIVE MAP OF BLOMQUIST INDUSTRIAL TRACT NORTH OF NEW PROPOSED <br />BAYSHORE HIGHWAY AND WEST OF HARBOR BOULEVARD SUBJECT TO: <br />1. Drainage by subject to Engineer's approval. <br />2. Ornamental electroliers be installed on Blomquist Street. <br />3. Poles and overhead utilities be at least 2001 from Blomquist Street. <br />4. All of Blomquist Street be included in the Subdivision boundary. <br />+ Councilman Herkner stated that he knew some people in there who wanted the property filled. City Engineer <br />Jain stated that if they put in a pumping plant it would have to be such that it would last 25 years. If <br />they can build one to meat this requirement then he would go along with the project. This was followed <br />by discussion in regard to the policy of the City in paying for the maintenance and power of the pumping <br />d • . <br />plants. Mr. Jain recommended that the Council study the cost of the maintenance of these plants. Councilman <br />Granger moved to carry this on the agenda for two weeks, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. There is no <br />hurry for the subdivision, however, they do have to put„in a water and sewer line because they have to <br />move to make way for the freeway to go through. Mr. Jain suggested that they install the water and sewer <br />lines and integrate into the plans later. ,This was followed by further discussion. Councilman Weiss asked <br />that they inclu& a comprehensive report on how this will effect the City and an estimate of the cost. <br />This was included in the motion which carried. <br />USE PERMIT GRANTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION: To P. Di Giovanni to allow dancing at 728 Woodside Road subject <br />to written approval of the Police and Fire Departments. The'written approval was submitted by both the <br />Police Chief and the Fire Marshal. Chief Faulstich stated that the compies with the ordinance and the <br />� dance will be held indoors. ' <br />I <br />The Mayor announced that the Chamber of Commerce asked for a portion of their budget. Auditor Brophy stated <br />-that latar hewill have to ask for a transfer of funds until such time as they get the money from the bonds. <br />Councilman Britschgi moved to pay the Chamber of Commerce,a portion of their money subject to the money <br />being available seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />0 <br />Councilman Herkner reported that the four cities would meet to discuss the Bus Line situation. <br />
