p <br />343 <br />authrity to act and speak for the City at the meeting on Tuesday in San Francisco in regard to Rapid Transit. <br />Councilman Granger moved the Councilman Weiss be made chairman of the Rapid Transit Committee, seconded by <br />Councilman Herkner. This was followed by more discussion. The Mayor asked the City Manager to attend the <br />meeting along with Councilman Weiss. The motion carried. <br />Councilman Weiss stated that he received a letter tonight from the City of Valledo in regard to the Rapid Transit <br />in which they presented a resolution for consideration., The City Attorney was asked to check this and <br />report back next week. <br />Claims 20776 through 20918, totaling $108,027.233 were ordered paid on motion of Councilman BritsFhgi, seconded <br />by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />Councilman Herkner moved that the meeting be adjourned to November 26, at 8:00 P.
