Jain, City Engineer <br />Councilman Granger moved approval of the Committee's recommendations, seconded by Councilman Weiss <br />and carried. <br />.YACHT HARBOR COMMITTEE REPORT, COUNCILMAN HERKNER. Councilman Herkner stated that the committee met on <br />February 8th. It was the Committee's recommendation that the money that has teen earmarked for <br />Yacht Harbor development and the balance of the Yacht Harbor bonds amounting to a round $18,000 or <br />$19,000 be used to start the development of the Yacht Harbor. Councilman Herkner outlined for the <br />people in the audience the yvork that has been planned by the committee and the work that has already <br />been done at the Yacht Harbor. $5000 will probably be•the estimated cost of piling. $12,000 was <br />left and will be used for the finger floats and wharves. Councilman-Herkner read a letter from the <br />Park and Recreation in regard to the report made by the Committee on the Marine Harbor, and plans were <br />submitted for inspection. <br />Councilman Herkner recommended that the report be looked on favorably. Councilman Spillers moved <br />approval of the recommendation, seconded by Councilman Granger.
