STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR FREEWAY PURPOSES and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call. The Mayor brought up the matter of the Citizens Committee for the Port. He stated that the Port Commissioners want to know if the Council still wants to consider this matter and if so should the proceed with the report. Councilman Weiss moved to sent the Committee a letter and give them a vote of confidence and state that they want them to paroceed with the examination, seconded by Councilman Spillers. E Councilman Herkner brought up the matter of the Sequoia Reservoir, and he suggested that the Council call i for bids as soon as possible. He felt that the City could secure good bids as this time. The City Attorney made a report in regard tossveral meetings he attended in which they dicussed how the bids should be considered and what should be considered in the bid. He suggested that the Council not call for bids on bonds until such time as the City knows whether or not they are going to have suff- icient funds and plans to complete the reservoir. The City Engineer stated that they are working on the Kentfield-Palm- Valota Road improvements and they consider this as the major project at the present time. They are 42941 5.
