<br />Councilman Royer moved that the City Manager investigate this ordinance and bring back a report at the next
<br />Council meeting, seconded by Councilman Stout. Councilman Granger amended to motion to include that the City
<br />Clerk look into the matter of who made the original recommendation for the or dinance, Motion carried.
<br />CITY AUDITOR REQUEST TRANSFER OF $1,410.35 TO COMPENSATION AND UNIFORM INSURANCE. Councilman Granger offered
<br />RESOLUTION 1966 TRANSFERRING $1,410.35 FROM THE UNBUDGETED RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE COMPENSATION AND UNIFORM
<br />INSURANCE ACCOUNT AND MOVED its adoption, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried on roll call, Councilman
<br />Spillers being,noted absent.
<br />L. R. BODE REQUEST VARIANCE AT 213 JAMES AVENUE TO MAKE TWO 17' DRIVEWAYS IN FRONT OF EXISTING APARTMENT BUILDING.
<br />City Engineer Jain recommended that this be approved. Councilman Royer moved. approval of the City Engineer's
<br />recommendation. This was followed by discussion by the Building Inspector and Mr. Bode. Councilman Royer
<br />added to his motion that this be subject to the approval of the City Engineer and the Building Inspector,
<br />seconded by Councilman Jones and carried.
<br />JOHN V. ZUCKERMAN LETTER OF RESIGNATION FROM PERSONNEL BOARD. Councilman Britschgi moved acceptance of the
<br />resignation with regret and expressed the Council's appreciation of his interest and service, seconded by
<br />Councilman Jones and carried.
<br />Claims #18307 through #18405, totaling $247,936.86, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Stout, seconded
<br />by Councilman Britschgi and carried.
<br />Councilman Stout moved adjournment, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried.

<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Carl A. Britschgi, Floyd D. Granger, Paul Jones,
<br />William H. Royer, Robert V. Spillers, Hiram S. Stout, Mayor Sidney D. Herkner and City Clerk R. S. Dodge.

<br />Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Police Chief William Faulstich, Water, Superintendent H. L. Winter, Assistant Water
<br />Superintendent Warren Mitchell, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss, City Collector Paul E. Perrin, Police
<br />Captain Theodore Moudakas and Account -Clerk Vivian Holmquist,
<br />REPORT, REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE REGARDING SALE OF. CITY OWNED PARCELS. Councilman Royer stated that this had been
<br />discussed by the Real Estate Committee and they recommended the following:
<br />Lot 4, Block 13 Jefferson Avenue Addition, $1,250. (On Topaz Street)
<br />Lot 42, Block 11 Vlooster, Whitton & Montgomery Sub., $500. (On Lincoln)
<br />Councilman Royer explained that there is a street assessment against the lot on Topaz Street in the amount
<br />of $1,070.48 and also an assessment on Lincoln Avenue of $567.18, however, the lot on Lincoln is only 13'
<br />x 113.85' and they were of the opinion that $500 would be a good price. Councilman Spillers moved
<br />acceptance of the committee's recommendation, seconded by Councilman Britschgi. Councilman -Royer asked that
