The Mayor asked that only the letter fo the City Engineer be read. Coun- <br />cilman Granger moved that they accept the recommendation of the City Engineer subject <br />to an agreement to be drawn up by the City Attorney and also the necessary resolution <br />for a variance, seconded by Councilman Weymouth. This was followed by discussion <br />after which the motion carried. <br />PRESENTATION OF SERVICE PINS TO EMPLOYEES. Councilman Granger stated that this report was made <br />at the request of Councilman Weiss and not the rest of the Council. The City Manager <br />was instructed to make the report for Councilman Weiss and if he wished he could send <br />copies to the rest of the Councilmen. Councilman Weiss stated that he had the right <br />to ask that the report be placed on the agenda as well as asking for the report. Coun• <br />
