Councilman Granger asked if it was possible for the City to post the <br />reward notice in the cemetery at or near the Grand Army of the Republic plot. The <br />City Attorney said they could post the area. Councilman Granger moved that the City <br />Manager be authorized to have a sign posted in accordance with the Police Chieffs <br />wishes, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF CONTINUATION OF CHILD CARE CENTER. The Clerk read the title of <br />the resolution. This was followed by discussion in regard to whether or not they had <br />an answer from the School Board as to why they were considering the discontinuation <br />of the Child Care Center. Councilman Weiss offered RESOLUTION 2288 URGING CONTINUATION <br />OF CHILD CARE CENTER PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY and moved its adoption, <br />seconded by Councilman Spillers. The City Attorney reported that the State had just <br />passed a bill in which they will continue to help support the Child Care Centers. The <br />motion carried on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE TO DR. MAYhR, MIDDLEFIELD ROAD AND JEFFERSON AVENUE. The <br />Clerk read the title of the resolution.
