<br />Adopt an ordinance of tho City of Redwood City, California, regulating the installation, erection, moving,
<br />altering, replacing, improving, suspension, and/or maintenance of all signs and advertising structures;
<br />providing for issuance of permits and the fixing of fees therefor; providing a penalty for the violation
<br />thereof, and .repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance., Council-
<br />man Rosselli said the Committee would like more time and moved that this be continued to September 12th,
<br />seconded by Councilman Stehle and carried.

<br />Councilman Stehle moved adoptionof RESOLUTION NO. 3178 AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF, REDWOOD CCTY AND
<br />REDWOOD CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR MAINTENANCE OF INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IN
<br />,CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Rosselli. This was followed by discussion in which Coun-
<br />cilman Royer asked that the record show that Mr. Brinkman stated thatthey will spend the $10,000, or
<br />more, for industrial development. The motion carni ed unanimously on roll call, Mayor Weymouth being
<br />noted absent.
<br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3179 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR BROADWAY-
<br />BREWSTER AVENUE, SIGNALIZATION ANI) OTHER IMPROVEMENTS, MAJOR CITY STREET PROJECT NO. 85; AND, AUTHCR-
<br />IZING CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried unanimously on roll call, Mayor
<br />Weymouth being noted absent. It was noted that the call for bids is subject to approval by the State
<br />of the, plans and specifications.
<br />Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission to rezone from R-1 District to R-3 District, the rear
<br />portion of a portion of Lot 21, Valota Park, listed as 1240 Woodside Road and now vacant. Councilman
<br />Herkner moved to set the matter for public hearing on September 12th, seconded by Councilman Royer.
<br />After discussion, the motion was changed to hold the public hearing on A ugust 29th in the Board of
<br />Supervisors' Chambers, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried, Councilman Rosselli voting no*
