<br />acceptance of some of the alternates on the readvertising. The motion carried unanimously on roll call, Coun—

<br />retain existing driveway on Brewster Avenue for their E1 Camino Real—Brewster station. The Traffice Bureau
<br />and the Planning Staff recommend against the granting of this variance. Councilman Granger raised the question ,.
<br />as to why this matter was held up so long. The City Engineer briefed the Council on the history of the remodel—
<br />ing of this station. Police Chief Faulstich reported that there was a safety hazard involved here. Council—
<br />man Rosselli moved to uphold the Traffic Bureau's recommendation and deny the variance (MINUTE ORDER #60-246),
