(This ordinance is to cover the cost of the classification survey.) <br />Councilman Stehle moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3271 BEIM A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION CONCERNING ALLOCATION <br />OF ANTICIPATED SALES AND USE TAX REVENUES (80% - 20%), seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried un- <br />animously on roll call. <br />Councilman Granger moved introduction of an ordinance amending Section 190 o£,aand adding Sections 190.10 <br />190.2, 190.3, 190.4 and 190.5 to, Ordinance No. 758, The Redwood City Traffic Ordinance, to provide <br />' for .one­way movement of traffic on Birch Street from Broadway to -Hopkins Avenue, seconded by Council- <br />man Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call. Councilman Herkner suggested that a sign be installed <br />on the north side of Hopkins and Birch Street designating it as two -ray traffic. <br />Resolution of Intention by the Planning Commission to rezone Marsh Road Annexation from nUu to °R-111 District. <br />Councilman Herkner moved to set the matter for public hearing on January 9th, seconded by Coundilman <br />Rosselli and carried. <br />Recommendation of the Personnel Board that permission be granted the City Manager to hire an accountant at <br />the second step of the Salary Range, $581 per month. Councilman Rosselli moved to authorize the City <br />Manager to hire at the second step (MINUTE ORDER #60-268), seconded by Councilman Stehle and carried. <br />The Council stressed the point that the new A ccountant would remain in the second step for one year <br />before he would receive his next step increase. <br />Resolution determining not to extend Norman Street to Palm Avenue. Chester W. Lebsack, representing Mr. <br />and Mrs. Hofheinz in their effort to have the property returned to them which they deeded without cost <br />to the City for the purpose of extending Norman Street from its present terminus to PalmAvenue, has <br />requested the Council to adopt this resolution. The Planning Commission adopted a resolution on May <br />10, 1960, stating that good planning no longer requires the extension of Norman Street. Haas and Haynie <br />wish to use portions of Winslow and Marshall Streets adjacent to the building they are constructing <br />for California Pacific Title Insurance Company on which to pour concrete forms. G* Hunter expressed his appreciation to the Mayors of San Mateo County in electing him for a second <br />term as a Director of the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. <br />W. H. Glasgow and Lucille 0. Glasgow of 1515 James Avenue and Myra L. Gourlie, 1441 James Avenue, <br />' complained about the type of structure Antonelli Bros, were putting up on the lot adjacent to their <br />property and expressed their concern about the drainage problem, Councilman Granger moved that the <br />letters be made a part of the record and referred to the Building Department for investigation (MINUTE <br />ORDER #60-269)0 seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />(Following are the letters.) <br />I, the property owner (and a widow) of 1141 James Avenue which adjoins the lot on which <br />the Antonelli Bros. are building wish to put in a complaint on the type of structure they <br />are putting up. <br />
