Matters of Council Interest (continued) <br />b. Council complimented City Manager Smith on the Citywide magazine sent to the <br />residents of Redwood City. The City Manager advised that Monica Finigan of <br />his staff and Mary Ann Fisch of Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Department, were in charge of this project. <br />c. Councilman Bury advised that the San Mateo County Stadium Committee has met <br />and established site and selection subcommittees and is proceeding well in <br />this information gathering stage. <br />d. Organizational Values (506-01) <br />Report: City Manager 12/30/87 <br />In response to questions, the City Manager advised that the credo would be <br />distributed to department heads, new employees at their orientation, and <br />would become part of the employee manual. <br />Council thanked the QWL Steering Committee for their hard work and superb <br />credo. <br />M /S: Greenalch /Chandler to adopt the Credo: <br />ORGANIZATIONAL VALUES We are here to serve the community of Redwood City by <br />delivering quality service, within financial realities, in a friendly, <br />cooperative, unbiased and efficient manner, enhancing the quality of life. <br />PUBLIC RELATIONS Cooperating with and responding fairly to the community <br />and its citizens - service to the public is our priority and primary <br />responsibility.
