Stangel <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CALL TO ORDER - <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />January 11, 1988 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />Councilmen present: Britschgi, Bury, Chandler, Greenalch, LaBerge, Stangel and <br />Mayor Claire <br />Councilmen absent: None <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, Hildebrand and Pawloski, Church <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Councilman Bury <br />INVOCATION - Reverend Stephen Rice <br />Grace Bible Church <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Executive Session 1/4/88 <br />City Council 1/4/88 <br />M /S: Chandler / Stangel to approve the subject Minutes as corrected to indicate <br />that Councilwoman LaBerge was absent from both meetings. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilwoman LaBerge abstaining and Mayor <br />Claire abstaining from the Council Minutes. <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. Presentation of Certificates of Historic Designation to <br />Dean Collins, owner of the "Finger Farmhouse ", 90 <br />Finger Avenue; and to Justin Jacobs, owner of the "Fox <br />Sequoia Theatre ", 2215 Broadway (202 -04) <br />James Thompson, Attorney representing Palo Alto Players, present owners of <br />the theatre, said that a member had been expected to be present to accept the <br />Certificate, but was unable to attend. <br />Mayor Claire asked that the presentation to Fox Sequoia Theatre be continued <br />until January 18, 1988 and reported that Dean Collins is unable to attend a <br />Council meeting and will be given his certificate privately. <br />MEMO 1/12/88 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />1/11/88 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 47 <br />Page NO. 459 <br />
