<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />Scope of Services <br /> <br />2. Waterworks Inc. will be on call 24 hours a day, and at least one of the four key <br />people will be available at all times. The protocol for water quality monitoring and <br />coordination is covered in section B. Water Quality Monitoring of the Scope of <br />Services. <br /> <br />3. A Water Quality Monitoring report is prepared and sent to Redwood City Public <br />Works Services Department with the monthly billing. Any chemical application <br />and harvesting performed will accompany the report. <br /> <br />4. As per the lagoon Management Plan, Waterworks will participate in public <br />meetings with Home Owners Associations (HOA) and / or Redwood Shores <br />residents groups, as requested by the City, to inform and answer questions <br />regarding the Lagoon management activities. <br /> <br />a. Waterworks will attend up to two meetings at no cost to Redwood City. <br /> <br />b. Waterworks will respond to phone calls from residents when referred by <br />Redwood City staff at no additional cost. <br /> <br />c. Waterworks is included in the Redwood City group email address: <br />protectlaqoons@redwoodcitV.orq. Redwood City staff is the leader <br />responsible for follow up and responses to emailed inquiries for residents <br />with assistance from Waterworks, if requested. <br /> <br />5. Complaint resolution will be handled in the following manner: <br /> <br />a. Complaints about lagoon maintenance from Redwood Shores residents will <br />be forwarded to Waterworks President, Richard Carnation by Redwood City <br />staff Supervisor Rich Boyer by telephone. <br /> <br />b. A follow-up facsimile containing the address /Iocation and the complaint <br />details is sent to Waterworks. <br /> <br />H. <br /> <br />c. Waterworks will immediately investigate and determine the appropriate <br />resolution, if necessary, and contact City staff. An appropriation resolution <br />approach will be determined, agreed to by Waterworks and City staff and <br />implemented. <br /> <br />d. The resolution will be faxed to the City for inclusion in the Complaint <br />Resolution log for the lagoons. City staff will be responsible for all resident <br />complaint tracking and maintain a complaint log in Public Works Services <br /> <br />Signage <br /> <br />Waterworks will attach to its vehicles magnetic signage which identifies the firm as a <br />contractor to the City of Redwood City for Redwood Shores lagoon Maintenance. <br />The wording and dimensions of said signs shall be provided to the contractor by the <br />City and obtained from a local sign making company. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Invoicing <br />Waterworks shall submit monthly invoices by the 20th day of the month immediately <br />following the month in which work was performed according to the schedule in the <br />attached Exhibit "C." <br /> <br />16 of 18 <br />
