Broadway Improvements Rehabilitation Study - amendment <br />to agreement (Wilsey & Ham) (702 -02) <br />Report: Public Works Director 1/20/87 <br />Randy Anderson, Wilsey & Ham, made a slide presentation showing replacement <br />materials, and the condition of Broadway in various blocks. Mr. Anderson <br />commented and replied to questions relating to the services to be included in <br />the amendment to the agreement, the kind of materials proposed to be used, <br />the demonstration project, the curb treatment at intersections and the manner <br />in which the trees are proposed to be saved. <br />Nita Spangler,970 Edgewood Road, objected to the street light fixtures and <br />requested that public comment be invited on any redesign plans for Broadway. <br />M /S: Greenalch / Britschgi to approve an amendment to the agreement for <br />engineers services with the firm of Wilsey & Ham to add an additional budget <br />of $21,400 to prepare construction plans for repairs and preventive <br />treatments for the Broadway sidewalk areas - Broadway Improvements <br />Rehabilitation Study. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 87 -27 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />6. Seaport Industrial Park Unit 1 Subdivision (Ricardo <br />Ramirez) <br />Report: Public Works Director 1/28/87 <br />In response to question, Director of Public Works Addiego said he would <br />prefer to set the deadline at November 15, 1987, for completion of the <br />proposed work, but the agreement calls for one year. <br />Peter Bohley, Brian Kangas Foulk, 540 Price Avenue, described the proposed <br />use of pumps for the retention pond, noting that it will have a concrete <br />channel and can accommodate a 100 -year storm. <br />Representative, PG &E Company, inquired about the proposed dumping of water on <br />PG &E property and requested a delay in consideration of the subject <br />agreement. <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />2/2/87 MINUTE BOOK NO. 47 <br />Page 7 Page No. 33 <br />
