Infrastructure and Public Services. The EIR will also provide a means of identifying <br /> the consolidated infrastructure and public service needs associated with the anticipated <br /> development scenario, and related mitigation responsibilities (i.e., sewer, water, fire protection, <br /> EMS, police, schools, parks, trails, and solid waste disposal). <br /> <br /> C. SPECIFIC EIR OBJECTIVES <br /> <br /> The work scope set forth in this proposal is designed to prepare an environmental impact <br />r report (EIR) for the Marina Shores Village application that adequately addresses the key <br /> issues identified above and meets the following specific objectives: <br /> <br /> 1. Meets the latest CEQA and related case law requirements for environmental impact <br /> assessment; <br /> <br /> 2. Fully informs City of Redwood City decision-makers, other responsible agencies, and the <br /> public, of the proposed actions and the environmental consequences of their approval; <br /> <br /> 3. Provides the necessary environmental documentation to achieve CEQA compliance for <br /> all related local approval actions (general plan amendments, rezonings, etc.); <br /> <br /> 4. Makes efficient use of existing environmental documentation and other pertinent studies <br />r already completed for the area, as listed in the City's September 2000 Bair Island Road <br /> Specific Plan RFP; <br /> <br /> 5. Minimizes the degree of additional environmental documentation required for future <br /> individual development applications within the Bair island Road development area; <br /> <br /> 6. Provides a comprehensive and clear project description summarizing the overall <br />r objectives of the proposed project and describes the specific physical layout characteristics, <br /> vehicular access provisions, land use breakdowns, building design and construction <br /> characteristics, pedestrian provisions, parking programs, landscaping and other common <br /> features, dredging and fill aspects, infrastructure provisions, anticipated construction phasing, <br /> and required future jurisdictional approvals; <br /> <br />r 7. Describes the land use implications of the project, including internal land use <br /> relationships and any potential internal land use incompatibilities; potential external land use <br /> relationships and incompatibilities (impacts on adjoining uses), and the relationship and <br />r consistency of the project with Redwood City General Plan and other pertinent jurisdictional <br /> land use policies; <br /> <br /> WP51~622iMISCiO013-1.EXA <br /> <br /> <br />
