RECOMMENDED WORK SCOPE <br /> <br /> The following nine tasks and associated subtasks will be undertaken by the Wagstaff and <br /> Associates team to accomplish the objectives described in section I of this proposal. An <br /> r Administrative Draft EIR will be submitted to the City in thirteen (13) weeks (65 working days) <br /> after City authorization to proceed (see section IV herein, Products and Schedule).~ <br /> <br /> TASK I. WORK SCOPE REFINEMENTS <br /> <br /> A. Initial Staff/ream Meetings <br /> <br />r To date, two (2) meetings have been held between City staff, the applicant and the Wagstaff <br />r and Associates Principal-in-Charge to discuss the EIR approach, work scope, and information <br />r needs. Upon City execution of the contract, up to two (2) initial meetings will be held between <br /> responsible City staff, the Wagstaff and Associates Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager <br /> (John Wagstaff) and, if the City desires, the project applicants, to discuss and refine the EIR <br /> approach, work scope, schedule, and information needs. <br /> <br /> B. Initial Field Surveys <br /> <br /> The project site and the surrounding Bair Island Road environs will be driven and walked to <br /> preliminarily identify existing conditions relevant to the project and its potential impacts. <br /> <br /> C. Preparation of Initial Study Checklist and Notice of Preparation (NOP) <br /> <br />r 1. Administrative Draft NOP/IS. Using City-preferred forms or a sample template from the <br />r CEQA Guidelines, Wagstaff and Associates will prepare an administrative draft Initial Study <br /> checklist, including a preliminary project description, checklist determinations, and associated <br />summary narrative for circulation to responsible and interested agencies to assist in refining <br />r the EIR scope, and will prepare a companion administrative draft Notice of Preparation (NOP), <br /> for review and approval by City staff. <br /> <br />r 2. Public Release NOP/IS. A public release version of the NOP and Initial Study will then <br /> be prepared, incorporating revisions to the Administrative Draft NOP/IS in response to City <br /> <br /> lA precise time line and delivery schedule would be formulated in consultation with City staff during <br />r the initial work scope refinement phase. <br /> <br /> WP51 ~622~M ISC~0013-2.
